The Pathways to Write Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural (SMSC) and British Values scheme inspires teaching of these important areas. The SMSC pack is a set of units to use with pupils from EYFS -Y6 on the of topic of refugees and are inspired by emotive and highly engaging texts. Each unit comprises 15 sessions and is designed to be delivered over 3 to 4 weeks. These detailed lesson plans and resources are linked to high-quality texts. They will develop spoken language, vocabulary, and reading and writing skills through the mastery approach.
